Stop trying to fall asleep. So many people go to bed desperate to fall asleep as quickly as possible, and then suffer the frustration of wakefulness.
Quit struggling – you need to relax before you can sleep! Be thankful that you are warm, safe and cozy, be glad that your body is resting. Breathe deeply, slowly, gently and listen to your heart beating peacefully.

We all have something that we indulge ourselves in every once in a while.
Whether it be cloths, shoes, cars, jewlery or maybe just a cup of chocolate mocha latte.Whatever your personal rewards are, take it upon yourself to give them. Acknowledge the fact that you worked hard and you deserve it.
Don’t move on to the other task until you have given yourself a treat! This will make the next task to do so much more enjoyable.

Ask for help! there is nothing wrong with a little assistance. We all need it some point in our life. This goes back to trying to do everything all at once. If you can’t handle the task at hand due to lack of help and or lack of time, speak to someone who would be willing to give you a hand.
A lot of times we feel as if it would get done better if we were the one to do it but alot of the times things work out a whole lot better when it’s done as a team. And not only is it good to have help but it also relieves that fear of failure which is a huge factor in stress.

Don’t try to do so many things at once. Nobody is super human and no one is capable of doing more than one thing at a time.
No matter how much you say you are capable of multi tasking, you just can’t do it. This is one of the main things that causes stress, trying to accomplish more than you can handle.
Keep your focus on the main thing that needs to be done. If you end up jumping back and forth from one thing to the other, you’re going to find yourself panicking and eventually breaking down.

Rushing is something that creates nothing but confusion which in turn creates annoyance and we all know what happens after that. Slow down! take your time and realize that time doesn’t move any faster or any slower no matter how much you try to rush it.
Time actually takes time as well, so why shouldn’t you. Don’t expend too much of your energy on tasks that aren’t as important. Put most of that into the more imperative projects that way your results will seem more rewarding.

One of the things you can do that will relieve a lot of the stressful, overwhelming feelings that you may have throughout your day is write down your agenda and the things that you have to do. Write them by priority and whatever you don’t get done, add to your next day agenda.
We have to learn how not to let things overcome us to the point of frustration. Its like having an unorganized closet. You will never be able to find anything with your shoes and cloths befuddled.Never going to happen!
